The Adventure      

Each trip consists of 2 nights & 2 days of camping and fly fishing with 2 guides on the beautiful Rio Costilla located just south of the Valle Vidal.  Your guides, Chef Carlos Montoya and Chuck Caldwell will be with you on the river during the day.  (Both gentlemen are certified EMTs.) In the evenings, you'll be taken back to base camp where your guides will prepare exquisite gourmet meals for you with the finest ingredients available.

Wine Dinner Package  –

                  o       4 guests

o       On Rio Costilla

o       4-course gourmet dinners paired with 4 different wines

 

Family Package –

o       4 guests (please no children under 13 years of age)

o       2 days/2 nights

o       Barbeque Feast complete with all the fixins

o       Classic Southwestern Carne Adosada Chicken &/or Shrimp Fajitas

o       On Rio Costilla

o       We can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests (there will be an additional charge for each guest over 4 people)

Romantic Getaway Package –

o        2 days/2 nights 0n Rio Costilla

o       4-course gourmet dinner – each course has ingredients that are known to be aphrodisiacs to tantalize all of the senses

o       Each course is also paired with a hand-chosen wine

All packages include transportation from Santa Fe or Taos, NM to Rio Costilla.  We recommend that anglers bring their own rods and equipment; however, if needed, The Outdoor Gourmet has a limited supply of waders and rods to accommodate.
